Here it is, our first wedding of 2019! A beautiful Lains Barn Wedding with some truly beautiful people! This was in fact our first ever trip to Oxford so we travelled from Northumberland on the Friday and stayed over the night before. We had a lovely time on Friday (staying on the health train we had a subway salad for lunch and a Nandos for tea, boom!)

Anyway, Cecile + Mathew are bloody amazing! Their day was completely full of smiling faces, love from all sides of the barn and handmade DIY decor galore. If you could actually write up an ideal wedding to start 2019 to it would have been this wedding! Cecile and a friend madder bouquet hoops which we loved so much! We enjoyed their day so much and editing the photos since has been an absolute joy. If you guys are ever up North please call by for a cuppa or something stronger, we bloody love y’all!

Also, it’s officially March today! Already?! That is bloody crazy! After a couple of really enjoyable days of sunshine and temperatures in the teens(!) we’re finally back to more February / March type weather.. Aka grey and a little bit chilly but not quite ‘The beast from the East’ type weather. Anyway.. I’m rambling!

Since Cecile + Mathew’s wedding we have also shot our first local wedding at LE PETIT CHATEAU with the lovely Lily + Aidan (their preview can be found here) and tomorrow we’re super excited to be going to MIDDLETON LODGE to photograph our first wedding at their newly renovated Kitchen Gardens // Fig House. It’s going to be a super cute botanical day, we can’t wait 🙂
